Hours per fortnight: 80 hours with a monthly ADO

Ballarat Health Services, proudly part of Grampians Health invites applications from enthusiastic and dedicated clinical pharmacists with hospital experience for this Senior Pharmacist (Emergency Department) position.

Applicants must have, or be eligible for, registration with the Pharmacy Board of Australia.

This role is primarily responsible for delivery of care and coordination, management and provision of oversight to all functions relating to the delivery of clinical pharmacy services to the Emergency Department (including Short Stay Unit (SSU) and Ambulatory Emergency Department (AED)) at Ballarat Health Services. In addition, this role will be responsible for planning and implementation of a 7-day extended hours clinical pharmacy service program and rostering model for the Emergency Department. As the Emergency Department clinical pharmacy workforce grows over time, this position may transition from a senior pharmacist position to a Clinical Pharmacy Team Leader role.

Professional development is supported through regular in-service education including journal club meetings and support for seminar/conference attendance is available. In addition, professional development support is provided through team-based structures as well as mentoring programs.

Remuneration will be award-based according to experience. Salary packaging and allowances for higher qualifications may provide additional salary benefits.
