About the role

Eastern Health operates five pharmacy departments. Our enthusiastic team of pharmacists and technicians are dedicated to providing high quality, evidence-based care to our patients at the time they are most needed. Our pharmacy department strongly values professional development and clinical education. We have an ongoing commitment to practice-based research and offer opportunities for involvement to all staff.

An exciting new opportunity exists at Eastern Health for a passionate pharmacist with sound clinical knowledge to join our dedicated team in a Senior Pharmacist Education and Training position. This position is responsible for the direction, planning, provision, and review of supervisory and education programs for pharmacy students, pharmacy interns, residents, advanced training residents, pharmacists and technicians at Eastern Health. This position has an association with Monash University.

About you 

To be successful in this role you should possess the following in addition to the Key Selection criteria. Please refer to Position Description for details.

  • Current AHPRA Pharmacist registration
  • Post Graduate qualifications relevant to the position (e.g. Masters Clinical Pharmacist or equivalent)
  • Highly developed interpersonal and leadership experience
  • A strong commitment to high quality care
  • The ability to work as part of a diverse team
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills
