About Us:
As the largest healthcare provider in East Gippsland, Bairnsdale Regional Health Service (BRHS) provides services to a rapidly growing population. Our Pharmacy Department offers comprehensive pharmacy services to all areas of the health service and supplies medication, drug information and support to external clients, smaller remote hospitals, bush nursing centres and community health centres in East Gippsland. Your role will include providing high-quality in-patient and outpatient pharmacy services, providing guidance to junior pharmacy staff and using your experience and expertise to support the Chief Pharmacist as required.
Requirements:
- Bachelor of Pharmacy Degree with current registration with the Pharmacy Board of Australia
- Minimum 3 years' Pharmacy experience, 12 months experience in hospital pharmacy is preferred
- Proven record of achievement in a pharmacy service environment
- An excellent working knowledge of the PBS system
- Patient focussed with an understanding of the importance of accurate and responsive communication
