Our health service currently has a Pharmacist – Senior (Outreach) position available on a temporary full-time basis for 12 months. Some travel will be required to remote sites within the health service by both car and air. The successful candidate will deliver high level clinical Pharmacy services to patients/clients whilst concurrently providing clinical practice supervision to staff. What’s on offer?
Remuneration package of up to $131,165 p.a. (+ any other applicable allowances/benefits including rural and remote allowances) comprising salary range $106,833 – $114,960 p.a. (HP4), recreational leave loading (17.5%), and employer contribution to superannuation (12.75%).

About the Role
The successful candidate will:

  • Undertake high level clinical Pharmacy duties within work unit, exercising independent judgement and problem solving skills in matters beyond routine day to day practice with minimal direct clinical practice supervision
  • Provide clinical Pharmacy services to outreach areas within the North West Hospital and Health Service. This involves provision of medicines information to medical practitioners and health care workers, participation in ward rounds, reconciliation of medication charts, provision of opioid replacement therapy, improving stock control and ensuring supply records are maintained.
