About the Austin Health Pharmacy Department:
The Pharmacy Department provides comprehensive high-quality care to Austin Health patients and supports other members of the healthcare team in all aspects of medicines management.
About the role:
The position is responsible for the co-ordination, provision, and review of pharmacy services to the Better at Home subacute program at Austin Health, a 25-bed unit.
About you:
You will be someone with good communication and interpersonal skills, who is comfortable working in a multidisciplinary environment and have:
• Registered as a pharmacist with Australian Health Practitioners Registration Authority (AHPRA).
• Demonstrated advanced clinical pharmacy knowledge and competence, including (but not limited to) geriatric and/or rehabilitation medicine.
• Master of Clinical Pharmacy or equivalent (such as Board-Certified Geriatric Pharmacist credential) or progression towards.
• Demonstrated teamwork, initiative, and motivation
• Experience in training and managing staff
• Strong commitment to high quality care
• Ability to represent the pharmacy department on committees (internal or external).
• Proven ability to identify and solve problems
