We are now recruiting four full-time Pharmacists to work with our Team Leaders to lead and develop our clinical and operational pharmacy services in the following areas:

These roles will be appointed as Grade 2 to Grade 4 dependent on your experience and as assessed in accordance with the Monash Health Merit-Based Progression Criteria.

About the roles

Working closely with the Team Leader/s in the area concerned, you’ll be recognised as a knowledge resource in your specialty area and will engage in training and developing team members in both Pharmacy and other disciplines.  You’ll also lead quality improvement initiatives and will have the opportunity to engage with Pharmacy professional groups outside Monash Health.

What you bring

You already have significant hospital pharmacy experience and/or a genuine interest in one of our specialty areas outlined above.  With a willingness to lead by example and to role-model expectations to others, you are also highly professional. Your positive approach is infectious and people enjoy working with you.

You can also demonstrate:

  • Leadership experience
  • Commitment to research, education and professional contribution in your specialty of interest
  • Current AHPRA registration as a Pharmacist and Australian working rights

Relevant postgraduate qualifications, such as Master of Clinical Pharmacy or equivalent, or Advanced Pharmacy Practice Stage 2 or Stage 3 will be highly regarded.

While likely based at one of our key sites, you’ll need to be flexible to work across the Monash Health network so a current Driver’s Licence and access to a reliable vehicle will be required.
