Operational Pharmacist
Full-Time – 80 hours per fortnight plus ADO
Grade 1/2 depending on experience

The Department
The Pharmacy services operate across all Alfred Health sites and are well recognised nationally and internationally for high quality, innovative, patient-focused services, education and training programmes as well as significant research output.

The Role
We are seeking enthusiastic and motivated pharmacists to join our pharmacy team as an Operational Pharmacist on a full-time permanent basis.
The Pharmacy services operate across all Alfred Health sites and are well recognised nationally and internationally for high quality, innovative, patient-focused services, education and training programmes as well as significant research output.

Our Pharmacists have a pivotal role in the safe, efficient supply and distribution of medication to patients and services across Alfred Health.
As part of the operational team you will work closely with your fellow team members consisting of both pharmacists and technicians across the provision of our services. The operational pharmacist role includes components such as: Inpatient, Discharge and Outpatient dispensary services, Aseptic and Manufacturing services and Clinical Trials. The operational service works closely with the clinical pharmacists and other medical, nursing and allied health teams to achieve the best medication management practices for our patients.
