Oncology Pharmacist – Grade 2
Fixed term – 12-months with the possibility of extension
(80 hours per fortnight with ADO)
This newly created position is to support the growth in oncology-haematology services of the Ballarat Regional Integrated Cancer Centre (BRICC) based at Ballarat Health Services. It is for 12-months fixed term (80 hours per fortnight with ADO) initially, with the possibility of extension.
Working as part of the BRICC pharmacy team which uses ARIA (an electronic oncology information system), you will provide pharmacy services to the Chemotherapy Day Unit, outpatient oncology-haematology clinics and participate in clinical trials. Opportunities exist for involvement in training (e.g. pharmacy residency program), education and research. Rotation to other areas of pharmacy services may occur.
This is a great opportunity for a pharmacist with hospital experience to take the next step in his/her career. Award-based remuneration will be negotiated with the successful candidate according to experience. Salary packaging and allowances for higher qualifications may provide additional salary benefits.
– Pharmacist registered with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
– Experience in the provision of hospital pharmacy services preferred.
