This is an exciting opportunity for a pharmacist to join the Ballarat Regional Integrated Cancer Centre (BRICC) Pharmacy team. The BRICC Oncology Pharmacy provides services to the Chemotherapy Day Unit and outpatient clinics, and participates in a number of clinical trials.
The position involves the provision clinical services to the Chemotherapy Day Unit and Inpatient Cancer Services. Opportunities exist for involvement in training, education and research.
The Oncology Pharmacy services relocated to the newly built BRICC building in 2013, to maximises the service opportunities for both patients and other health professionals. Our Oncology Pharmacy services are integral part of the highly regarded and fast growing oncology service at Ballarat Health Services. The use of ARIA (an electronic oncology information system) is highly progressive.
This is an ideal opportunity for a pharmacist with hospital experience to take the next step in their career. It is an opportunity to work in an integrated, advanced and fast growing oncology service to optimise patient outcomes.
Award-based remuneration will be negotiated with the successful candidate according to experience. Salary packaging and allowances for higher qualifications may provide additional salary benefits.
