About the facility 

The Barwon Health Pharmacy Department provides an extensive range of pharmacy services to the University Hospital Geelong, McKellar Centre and St John of God. Barwon Health is the first hospital in Australia to adopt ROWA robot technology for our dispensing and inventory control. In keeping with Barwon Health's commitment as a leading tertiary teaching hospital, the service has an active involvement with education for student and intern pharmacists as well as medical, nursing and other health professionals. An active research program is supported through links with Monash University.

About the role 

Our team at St John of God pharmacy Geelong is seeking a discharge/outpatient pharmacist in the busy dispensary during each morning of the working week.

In this role you will provide a comprehensive range of services to ensure safe, appropriate and efficient medication. To be successful in this role you will have excellent team building and communication skills. You will engage with consumers and other health professionals. Attendance at journal clubs, lectures and seminars will be encouraged and supported.
