Director of Pharmacy


Medical Scientists, Pharmacists & Psychologists 2021 - 2025

80 hours per fortnight

Full Time, Permanent

ERH services the Shire of Campaspe and the cross-border Murray River Council. Echuca Moama and townships are located directly across the state border from one another, separated by the Murray River.

Applications are sought from suitably qualified, motivated Pharmacists to lead the Pharmacy Department at Echuca Regional Health.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Lead the department to achieve a consistent high quality, safe, efficient and innovative pharmacy service responsive to changing organisational and community needs and operated within budget constraints
  • Develop and implement pharmacy strategic goals to align with and support the ERH Strategic Plan and values
  • Ensure compliance with all current relevant legislation, professional standards and guidelines and local policies and procedures
  • Actively participate in mandatory meetings as required and requested
  • Maintain core clinical competence specific to the area of clinical practice

Qualifications/experience required:

  • Minimum of 8 years post registration hospital pharmacy experience with high level management experience for no less than 3 years at Grade 4 or above
  • Registered as a pharmacist with AHPRA
  • Post Graduate qualifications in hospital pharmacy/ business management
