The Australian Pharmacy Council (APC) is an independent not-for-profit company, responsible for accreditation of pharmacy education and training under the National Registration and Accreditation Scheme (NRAS). Working to protect public health by setting and maintaining high standards of pharmacy education, the APC enables pharmacists to deliver effective health care to meet the changing needs of the community.
Reporting to the Deputy Chief Executive Officer and working collaboratively as part of the Leadership Team, you will have responsibility for leading the continued transformation journey and expert delivery of high quality examination services for the Council. We develop and deliver exams to over 2,500 candidates across Australia and the world annually, both in test centres and through online remote proctoring.
Building on and enhancing the experience of those undertaking the examinations through innovation, online systems and support materials whilst ensuring a robust assessment process and high level testing standards are maintained, meeting the evolving needs of the pharmacy profession.
This is a unique opportunity for a highly motivated and people centric leader, who has intellectual curiosity and a keen interest in examinations whilst working with a highly specialist and committed team to deliver quality examinations through operational excellence. You will also have the opportunity to build a suite of candidate support materials to support pharmacists through their registration journey.
Your collaborative, innovative and coaching style will enable you to inspire and motivate your team to look beyond the day to day and develop and implement highly recognised initiatives that enable the assessment and validation of the best pharmacists in the world!
Academic qualifications in business management, health, education and/or pharmacy with proven experience in leading a similar or related capability is essential.
