This position is a clinical pharmacist position in a rural base hospital, fulfilling roles that include:clinical ward pharmacy, medication reconciliation, dispensing, provision of medication-related advice to clinical staff and patients, commitment to provision of a high quality, safe, efficient and effective pharmacy service ensuring continuum of patient care

Selection Criteria:

Essential:

  • Bachelor of Pharmacy degree
  • Pharmacist registration with AHPRA
  • Commitment to improving patient outcome through medication management
  • Membership to an appropriate professional body such as Society of Hospital Pharmacists of Australia or Pharmaceutical Society of Australia
  • current Police Check
  • having applied for a Victorian Working With Children Check
  • Hospital Pharmacy experience

Desirable:

  • Experience in using iSOFT software
  • Commitment to continuing education
  • Excellent time management, organisational, communication and team building skills

This gives you an opportunity to work within our vibrant hospital Pharmacy department and involves performing clinical pharmacist duties for the hospital involving inpatient and outpatient services.

We are seeking a pharmacist to join our professional team to provide clinical pharmacy services. This temporary full time position is available immediately until July 2021 and includes working Monday to Friday 8.30am to 5pm and occasional Saturday 9am to 12pm, including participation in an on-call roster.
