An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced hospital pharmacist to join LRH and GHA in a full time capacity as the Clinical Informatics Pharmacist (Grade 3). However, a job share arrangement can be considered for this position.
Reporting to the Pharmacy Manager at LRH, the successful applicant will be expected to:
Provide governance and clinical support for clinical applications applicable across the Gippsland Health Alliance and at Latrobe Regional Hospital. These include the oncology logistical software, CHARM, medication library for the IV infusion smart pumps (Guardrails) and electronic medical record.
To be successful, we would expect the applicants to possess the following:
- Signifant hospital pharmacist experience
- Well developed written, oral and interpersonal communication skills
- Able to work in a multi-disciplinary team environment
- Customer focus
- Registered as a pharmacist with AHPRA.
- Pharmacy oncology experience.
- Familiarity with clinical applications.
- Possess a valid Victorian driver’s license.
Latrobe Regional Hospital (LRH) is the major provider of specialist health services in the Gippsland region, east of Melbourne. Our comprehensive range of services extends to emergency and intensive care, elective surgery, allied health, obstetrics, medical and radiation oncology at the Gippsland Cancer Care Centre, dialysis and aged care.

Essential: Oncology Pharmacy experience
