An exciting new opportunity exists at Eastern Health for an early career pharmacist to join our team and participate in our SHPA accredited structured Advanced Training Residency (ATR) program in Cancer Services.

The successful applicant will work across Eastern Health sites within Cancer Services on a rotational basis. The ATR will be assigned a Preceptor/Mentor and will complete tasks such as Mini Clinical Evaluation Exercises, Case Based Discussions which then will be presented as a Case Presentations and will develop an Advancing Practice portfolio for submission and credentialing at Stage II (Consolidation) Advancing Practice Pharmacist. The formal structured program is designed to assist the individual to achieve advanced practice within Cancer Services, whilst completing a Masters of Clinical Pharmacy.

Supervision and training of intern pharmacists and pharmacy students and participation in weekend, public holiday and on-call rosters will be required.

Applicants need to be a registered pharmacist (or soon to be registered) with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency and have a valid Victorian Driver Licence.

Previous clinical pharmacy experience is essential (>2 years clinical pharmacy practice post registration as a pharmacist).
