Job Description

We are seeking an outstanding practitioner to join one of Australia’s most innovative clinical pharmacy services.

Alfred Health Pharmacy Services provide the full range of contemporary services to manage and support medication usage across all the Network’s campuses.  The unit based clinical pharmacy services provide comprehensive patient directed services across four campuses in ambulatory, inpatient and emergency settings. This includes innovative services including medication charting, anticoagulation services and pharmacist led therapeutic drug monitoring for example. These are supported by credentials programs in additional to a formal Clinical Fellowship Program.

The Lead Pharmacist – Aged Care will work with the Director of Pharmacy, Senior Managers and the multidisciplinary team to develop and coordinate clinical pharmacy services to the Rehabilitation and Aged Care team. The Lead Pharmacist will manage a dynamic team of Senior Pharmacists and Pharmacists in Training including Residents and Interns and be responsible for direct delivery of clinical services to the Aged Care team.

Selection Criteria:

Demonstrate advanced clinical knowledge: 

  • Ability to communicate with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Ability to Manage clinical staff
  • Post Graduate qualification
  • Past experience in a clinical pharmacy in Aged Care or related specialty (desirable)
